Why do you think people today think they can follow Jesus on their own?
Read Ephesians 2:19 together. What difference does it make knowing that Jesus saves us into a community?
Read Acts 2:42–47 together. How does this passage widen your vision of the church?
How does the gospel motivate us to live this kind of shared life?
What would your community look like if it were devoted to the same things we see in Acts 2? What would be different?
Prayer (20 mins)
Break into triads (3-4 people) and share honestly about where you’re at. Share anything hard or difficult going on in your life. If you want, you can confess sins or share your burdens with one another. This is simply a time to be open and honest with a small group and to pray for one another.
